September Bird Highlights

A common field view of Wryneck and couple more photogenic

 patch gold - pintail

Autumn

A great breeding season for many birds has contributed to some great autumn migration.

Away Days

Some pelagic action from a little south of the Lizard - Madeira

 

Penzance Pelagics

Although very calm for much of the summer this resulted in great photo ops

 



Summer Inverts

The great summer weather made it a good season for many local and immigrant species.

A first encounter with a tandem pair of Lesser Emperor later observed ovipositing
